Ngai Takoto Iwi and Sport Northland are proud to co-present the 2018 Te Taitokerau Māori Sports Awards Saturday to be held 27 October 2018 at the Copthorne Hotel and Resort, Bay of Islands (Waitangi). These awards aim to recognise the achievements and service to sport of people who whakapapa to Te Taitokerau. It is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our Māori sportspeople; from those that participate in sport, to those that make it happen.
Nominations are open
Sport Northland now welcomes whanau to nominate their high achieving sportspeople for consideration in the various categories at the ‘Te Taitokerau Māori Sports Awards.’
Please take time to read and familiarise yourself with the Criteria of Nominations before nominating. Please note, the period when achievements are to have occurred is from 1 November 2017 to 19 October 2018.
Nominations are due by 21 September 2018 and must be completed online using the official online nomination form.
