Thank You Tom Petricevich

Thanks TomTom has chosen to step down from his role as Trustee on the Ngāti Kuri Trust Board this year.

Tom has been a staunch supporter of all things Ngāti Kuri. Below are some of the roles he has served in our community:

  • Chair and Trustee on Muriwhenua Incorporation (a number of times)
  • Trustee on Parengarenga Incorporation
  • Trustee on the Ngāti Kuri Trust Board
  • Mandated Treaty Negotiator for Ngāti Kuri
  • A member of He Korowai Trust

He has carried out these roles as well as building and running his own family business, being a husband, father, grandfather, a layreader in the Anglican Māori Pastorate, and he continues to support and sponsor many school and community projects.

Tom is a quiet achiever who loves the role of being a supporter, and unselfishly gives of his time. He is respectful of people and relationships, is principled and operates from a high level of integrity.

On behalf of the Board I wish to thank Tom for his many years of service to Ngāti Kuri, and acknowledge the support from his whānau. A big thank you for letting us have Tom over those many years. Though we will miss his input and support, he affirms those attributes that identify us as Ngāti Kuri.
